Donita's Cantina has been responsible for collecting over $100,000.00 for the 1% Program by offering the program at our restaurant. Donita's Cantina is one of the original 1% businesses in Crested Butte.

 

 

 

1% for Open Space raises funds for open space projects in the Gunnison Valley solely through the 70 participating businesses who request a voluntary 1% donation from customers on top of products and services.  Once collected, 1% for Open Space grants this money to requesting entities such as the Trust for Public Land, the Crested Butte Land Trust, the Gunnison Ranchland Conservation Legacy, the Rocky Mountain Biological Laboratory and the Town of Crested Butte.  Such efforts permanently preserve open lands, recreational accesses, viewshed corridors, ranchlands and wildlife habitats in Gunnison County.
